Alice Cottage is a lovely, stylish yet real traditional, cosy, mid-terrace property in the village of North Creake. The house has been extensively renovated and has retained original beams and pamment floor tiles and brickwork along with some real kitsch furnishings provide a real home-from-home. It's perfect for a small family of three and you can also bring two of your four-legged friends along. Outside the garden is mature with outdoor seating and well-enclosed for both dogs and children, although beware if your pooch is especially small and cheeky - they may be able to squeeze through! The River Burn runs along the end of the garden and so pooh sticks are provided!
Within walking distance is the village pub just 2 minutes across the road. Just outside the village are the ruins of a 14th Century Augustinian Priory where there is a regular farmers' market, café and selective shops.
The cottage is ideally placed to enjoy the coast and all that the area has to offer inland. It's just 3 miles from Burnham market – a pretty village with a variety of shops and galleries. Otherwise if you fancy getting sandy toes, head west approx. 20 miles to the lovely Heacham Beach.
