Boxes is a beautiful family holiday home 2 miles from the stunning Norfolk coast. Perfect for up to 10 guests and set within farmland on the edge of the idyllic villages of Glandford and Wiveton, this is a perfect base for groups, birdwatchers, nature-lovers and walkers. The property features a fantastic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which retains many original features, a playroom, five cosy bedrooms, a bathroom, en-suite shower room and separate WC. There's plenty of space outside for children to play. Please note sheep and pigs on-site, and wild deer nearby, so dogs must be kept under control. 

Overlooking the Glaven Valley, Wiveton is a charming village, with a choice of pubs and restaurants. You can enjoy a walk to pretty coastal villages including Cley next the Sea (2½ miles) and Blakeney (2 miles). From Blakeney you can take a boat trip to see the resident colony of seals. 

The Norfolk coast has plenty of glorious sandy beaches, fascinating nature reserves and quaint villages to discover. The popular resort of Cromer is nearby (14 miles) and offers numerous traditional seaside holiday activities, or you could head inland to the market town of Fakenham (12 miles).

  • For short break bookings over a weekend, this can be arranged by prior arrangement with the owner. Reductions available for smaller groups outside peak periods
  • Please be aware the property is set on a working farm where there are livestock so dogs must be kept under control
  • From the main road the drive leading to the property is via a farm track which is an unadopted road
  • The gardener may visit during guest stay to cut the grass and do general gardening jobs
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 4 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Boxes is situated in beautiful and quiet surroundings, but not far away from places of interest. The offers plenty of space for get-togethers and is really well equipped with everything you could need. It is beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail and everyone felt enveloped and at home. The atmosphere is cosy and homely and we had Read morean absolutely joyful week and were sad to leave. Hide

It was an absolute delight to stay at The Boxes on our 4 generations holiday to Norfolk. We will definitely be booking again! The property is very spacious and welcoming with a good mix of bedroom and bathrooms to suit all of our family needs. It is surrounded by beautiful farmland and seeing the livestock every time we drove along the lane was a tRead morereat. A stunning location , lots of wildlife to watch . We have been going to Norfolk for about 18 years , but this is by far the best location we have stayed in . Plenty of room so you're not falling over each other . The outside space is great for the children to run wild . Have already booked for next year.

A perfect place for a group of people to spend a weekend together. The open plan living area was perfect for relaxing around the fire. The kitchen and dinning area was well equipped to cater for us all and the over all decor of Boxes was charming! The Boxes is a fantastic venue for a family holiday - it gave us an excellent space for three couples and children. Facilities are all there - and the arrangement of the rooms is well thought out. Fabulous property which was perfect for a family gathering. The main living space has plenty of room to eat and socialise togther, with a separate smaller living room if needed. Really lovely place for peace and quiet.

The property is absolutely fantastic: warm, cosy and comfortable. It was everything the pictures promised and more - we couldn't believe our luck at having found it. It was the perfect location for a Christmas getaway and we had a brilliant time.
