Church Lane Cottage is a delightful single-level cottage set on the northern coast of Norfolk. Perfect for birdwatchers, walkers and nature-lovers, this lovely property is ideally situated in the picturesque village of Cley next the Sea, making it a great base for a family looking for a quiet rural retreat. This pretty cottage offers a spacious and inviting lounge/diner, a light and airy kitchen, three comfy bedrooms, a sun room, an en-suite bathroom, an en-suite shower room, a separate WC and a pretty garden with patio.

The picturesque village of Cley is known for its quaint windmill and magnificent church, and has a great selection of independent art and craft shops, galleries and specialist food shops. The village is home to the NWT Cley Marshes Nature Reserve (1 mile from the cottage), the oldest and best known nature reserve in the region, which supports large numbers of wintering and migrating wildfowl and waders.

There are breathtaking walking paths along Cley's pebble beach, and the Norfolk Coastal Path takes you through to Holme-next-the-Sea (23 miles) and onto the ancient Peddars Way National Trail. Other nearby coastal towns include Blakeney (1½ miles), Wells-next-the-Sea (10 miles), Sheringham (8 miles) and Cromer (12 miles).

This was a lovely little cottage with a beautiful, obviously well loved garden. It was clean and comfortable. There were no spare waste bin bags, and the little tube of washing up liquid didn't last long. But these are small niggles and we would happily stay there again.

This is a home ! It's small, but two en-suites and another loo was great . A very equipped kitchen .Netflx was a plus . My granddaughter loved investigating the garden , lots of little nooks and Crannies . Dog friendly . Lovely spot

An excellent cottage, clean and comfortable and in a good location. Perhaps a bit "old fashioned" in places but that adds to the charm of the cottage. Nice conservatory and garden.

This is a bungalow in a great location easy walking distance to beach. Clean and tidy but dated and tired looking. Garden enclosed but needs a tidy.

Chapel Lane cottage is a lovely ,cost cottage. The beds are very comfortable and 2 of the bedrooms have en suite. There's a walk in shower for the less able plus a large bath if you want a good soak.. The kitchen is well stocked .with kitchen essentials. There's a open fire and very good sitting area.The drive will accommodate 2 cars. The marshes aRead morend other birdwatching sites are in walking distance along with 2 good pubs and village amenities. Would recommend. Hide

Wouldn't stay again. Poorly maintained, tired, needs refurbishment. Twin beds need replacing. Conservatory unusable, radiator didn't work. Cleaning inadequate. Had to vacuum dirt/cobwebs/spiders in wardrobes/throughout property. Kitchen units dirty, surface cracked. Pans left dirty. No cleaning products provided. There is a cupboard in kitchen, needs another shelf, every piled high. A lamp shade in bunk bedroom, dangerous, should be replaced. Issues with bins, nothing collected, someone had written in cottage guide did not make sense. Our holiday is always wonderful, not sure of recommendation, although very good for our needs.

Fabulous place to stay. Not just a 'holiday cottage' but a family bungalow which the owners are allowing you to rent for your holiday. Ideal for mature guests In a quiet residential area. Dog friendly. Very comfortable and in a great location. Looking forward to returning next year.

Lovely cottage in great location in Cley. Plenty of space for 4 adults and two kids and a dog. Great garden and conservatory was lovely place to sit in afternoon. Great holiday.

Cosy, quiet, well equipped cottage with secure garden in an ideal location to enjoy this coastal area of North Norfolk with a dog. Two local pubs within walking distance. The Three Swallows was particularly good with excellent food, a varied menu, good wine list and choice of beers and very friendly staff.
