Clematis Cottage is a traditional brick and flint cottage which makes a fantastic family holiday home for up to six guests. Located in a secluded and picturesque village ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside, this charming holiday property offers a bright and comfortable lounge, an attractive dining room, a stylish kitchen/breakfast room, three cosy bedrooms, a bathroom, separate WC and a large garden. An ideal base for exploring the area, this delightful cottage is a short drive from the breathtaking coast.

The delightful and quintessentially English village of Kettlestone dates back to the Domesday Book and is just 3½ miles from the bustling and historic market town of Fakenham, home of the Fakenham Racecourse and the Thursford Show. The fantastic Pensthorpe Natural Park is 2½ miles away.

Among nearby attractions are Binham Priory (7 miles), Titchwell Marsh (20 miles), Blakeney Point (11 miles), Holkham Hall (12 miles) and the Stody Estate (8 miles). Nearby towns include Holt (10 miles) and King's Lynn (25 miles), or you could head to coastal towns and villages including Burnham Market (13 miles), Hunstanton (23 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (11 miles).

Was very pleased to book Clematis Cottage. The cottage and grounds are stunning and on arrival despite being quite late at night, we felt a wonderful sense of peace and serenity. The cottage was clean a welcoming hall light/heating were on. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality items and for longer stays , has extra fridges/freezes and pantRead morery storage. Fabulous cottage in a great location. The cottage is very well equipped and the owners have thought of many 'extras', for example a stairgate and toys for the younger visitors. It is set in a quiet area but with easy access to Fakenham for shopping. The coast is easily reached and has some beautiful, clean and sandy beaches. We also visited SandrinRead moregham, The Broads and Bewilderwood but the highlight was the seal trip, which we highly recommend. Thank you, could easily have stayed longer. Hide

We had a fabulous two weeks at Clematis Cottage. It is located in a beautiful part of North Norfolk, is super comfortable and really well equipped, and is a great base for exploring the North Norfolk coastline. Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location. Convenient central location for visiting the north Norfolk coast. Supermarkets only a short drive away. Quick response from cottage owners. Large dog friendly garden which the dogs loved. We enjoyed the welcome pack, especially the wine. Would definitely stay again if holidaying in north Norfolk.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating a 75th birthday. Cottage was in a wonderful setting and so well equipped. Everything we needed was provided. The 2 dogs, who are flat dwellers, absolutely loved the enclosed garden. Birthday boy enjoyed cooking on the bbq. The welcome treats were much appreciated. Thank you

Very comfortable and spacious cottage brilliantly located for north norfolk coast. We enjoyed Cromer, Sheringham and Wells and, inland, Holt too. Excellent produce from deli in Cley. All in all a great place for a short break.

Absolutely loved our stay at Clematis Cottage. Had everything our family needed. The owners were so kind to leave us a bottle of wine, basket of fruit some chocolates, mince pies and a Christmas card. It was so cosy inside and surrounded by natural beauty. We went into holt for the day and also drove to Cromer, although we were quite happy to stay Read morein the cosy cottage having dinner and playing board games. Would highly recommend this little gem and we look forward to returning in the summer. Hide

Amazingly clean and cosy cottage with super facilities Food and kitchen radio being on when we arrived ,were very welcoming on although radio probably needs replacing... Garden was enclosed and lovely for our energetic lab. Spacious rooms were perfect for our family of 6. We had a lovely Christmas - thank you so much :)

Clematis Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring North Norfolk. Such a beautiful area, with lots to see and do. Highly recommend Holkham Hall, Blickling, Felbrigg, RSPB Titchwell Marsh and the wonderful beaches and coastline This gem is not to be missed...peaceful, relaxing escapism

This is a beautiful cottage. Plenty of enclosed space for children and dogs to play. A quiet village, but only a short car ride to the coast.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely peaceful countryside location. Very comfortable and good facilities. Great sized garden for children and dogs. Ideally situated for beaches and National Trust houses and other tourist attractions.

Great well equipped cottage has everything you need, with a large secure garden for children and dogs. Great walk to West Wood right on the doorstep. Great central North Norfolk location, ideal for exploring the sights and attractions.

Unreserved complements to owner re standard and cleanliness of the facility. In all our many years of self catering holidays this property and its facilities are second to none. We had a great stay at Clematis Cottage. The house was really clean and cosy. We managed to get the only sunny day all week to enjoy a family BBQ in the lovely large garden. Would definitely go again.

Beautiful brick and flint detached cottage. Superb enclosed rear garden, great for children and dogs. Warm and cosy. Good location for exploring this part of Norfolk. Good beaches which our dog loved.
