Newly built, it features quality furnishings and fittings throughout, providing a real home away from home aesthetic. There are three bedrooms - one master king size, one further king size, and one twin room - so there is plenty of space for the family to enjoy. The fully enclosed garden ensures it's a safe place for children and pets to play.

Under a mile from the cottage you'll find all the amenities of Burnham Deepdale, with an array of local shops, pubs and cafes. Village life centres around the harbour and its thriving fishing and sailing community. Explore the beaches – with Brancaster beach under 3 miles away, walk the Norfolk Coastal Path, or take a short ferry ride to Scolt Head Island (operational during Summer months only from Burnham Overy Staithe) 

‘Norfolk's loveliest village,' Burnham Market, is just 2 miles away and is full of an eclectic mix of unique and upmarket shops. Or if it's more of the coast you wish to explore, travel 7.5 miles to Wells, where you can explore the harbour and the children can enjoy crab fishing.

Family of 4a 2c and dog Compass cottage is absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs has the wow factor, very comfy beds beautiful furnishings all pots pans you could ever need plenty of space to loose yourself as we are in 70s and took granddaughter hubs and Great grandchildren 4/3 lots of thought has gone in to kids activities full cupboard Read moreof things as well as dvd. Weather was not kind to us and shame we couldnt sit outside on the beautiful furniture. Will definitely be back loved it Hide

Just come back from a lovely weekend.Beautiful house clean and comfortable. Great location , convenience store and coffee shop just round the corner.and highly recommended the pizza van on a Friday and Saturday evening. Nice welcome pack. Highly recommended.

Lovely, comfortable, spacious and warm. Great location. Very well equipped. Great to have a fully enclosed garden for the dog. Don't know whether the road noise would be more of an issue in the summer; it was fine in March. Loved being so close to the supermarket and petrol station. Fantastic stay at compass cottage. Good for our German shep as she loves long walks. There was a 6 mile stretch 2 mins away from us. Underfloor heating was a dream, garden was lovely and secure. Very well equipped compared to other places we have stayed in. Would definitely stay there again

Cottage was lovely, warm and comfortable. Fantastic views out over the Marsh and we saw lots of wildlife during our stay. Although situated on a fairly busy road, it is very quiet at night. We would definitely recommend it.

Really lovely house. Perfect size for 4 adults, 1 toddler and a large breed dog. In a great location, close to both Wells and Hunstanton. Dog friendly with secure garden. Our only problems was the heating and trying to turn it down, it never seemed to work so house was very hot. And the carpet in living room wasnt practical for a crawling toddler, Read moreit was quite rough and hard. We brought a very large rug with us to have a soft area for little one. Hide

A lovely clean, well equipped cottage located on the edge of a quiet village. Ideally located for the Norfolk coastal path and within easy driving distance of a number of coastal towns and villages. We would happily recommend this for anyone looking for a base to explore North Norfolk.

Lovely stay at Compass Cottage.We enjoyed visiting the beaches at Hunstanton,Holkham and Wells. There is a nice walk from the cottage along the coast path to Brancaster Staithe. The local supermarket is very well stocked, and we would recommend the wood fired pizza van at Dalegate Market.

A lovely cottage, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, good information pack and a great location. Would throughly recommed. Nice to have a shop and petrol station in close proximity, with the white horse and jolly sailor pubs close by ,and the beach at Brancaster approx 3 miles away (FYI you only have 2 options for the parking charges here which Read moreare an extortionate 5 for two hours or 10 for the day !!!). Spacious, comfortable and well equipped cottage. The location was ideal for tourists. Although located adjacent to the road, noise was not a problem. Excellent parking for two cars +. Lovely private patio for alfresco dining.

The cottage is great design and warm and comfortable. Its a great place in a great location. The underfloor heating and log burner were great!

This property is very spacious and comfortable, huge kitchen/diner and large lounge. Very cosy and warm, underfloor heating great. Centrally located so no place is more than 30 mins drive. Easy parking for at least 2 cars. Beds comfortable and didnt notice road noice. Nice little shopping centre within walking distance. Few issues with cleanliness,Read more taken up with owner and questionable whether all beds had clean sheets. If these issues are sorted out I would definitely give a 5* rating. Hide

The cottage is lovely, in a fantastic location, the road is quiet close but not that busy or noisy in October. Only a few things missing no sharpe knives for food preparation and no antibacterial spray for food preparation surfaces. Really lovely house. Perfect size for us (4 adults, 1 baby and a large dog). Sofas where a great size and very comfortable. Just wasnt a fan of the flooring in the living room, not comfortable to sit on the floor. Great kitchen with everything you need. Bedrooms were a great size too. Clean and tidy. Very nice spacious house. Well located for local towns and beaches kitchen well equipped. Only addition I would recommend is an Head Chef apron. . We would consider staying there again.
