Open the French doors onto the seating area - a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee in the fresh countryside air.

Field Dalling's village hall on occasions hosts a ‘pub night', but for a real pub atmosphere head to Binham or Langham (both 2 miles), or further afield to the pretty Georgian town of Holt (5 miles) – full of independent shops and enticing eateries.

Walk the Norfolk Coastal Path, which runs 84 miles from Sea Palling to Hunstanton; join it at Morston (4.5 miles from Field Dalling). Lovely cottage in the perfect place. Very cosy with great underfloor heating and comfy furniture. Very quiet but can get to local towns or the north coast in a few minutes. This was my third time staying here and I intend to return next year.
