Tucked away down a no-through road, Grooms Cottage enjoys a peaceful, idyllic setting which borders the parkland of Ingoldisthorpe Hall. The charming cottage (one of a pair) is cosy but well-equipped, with a modern galley-style kitchen and a bright, comfortable sitting room, finished with a ‘wood burner effect' heater. With two double bedrooms (one with a separate day bed), it makes the perfect family escape, with coast and country close by waiting for you to explore.

As well as its own enclosed garden, Grooms Cottage shares a larger grassed area with Gardeners Cottage, giving ample space for the children and dogs to explore. Shops and pubs are just a 1.5 mile walk (or drive) away.

The sandy beaches at Hunstanton (6.5 miles), Brancaster (12 miles) and Holkham (17.5 miles) are nearby, so pack a picnic and a bucket and spade for a family day by the seaside. Also nearby are the RSPB bird and nature reserves at Titchwell (11 miles) and Snettisham (1 mile), while excellent walking can be enjoyed along the Peddars Way Trail and coastal path.

Beautiful cottage, with fabulous garden and views, tucked away for a peaceful stay! Comfortable accommodation, lovely double bedrooms with quality bedding. Walk in shower was great, and water pressure was good which is always a bonus! Nice fluffy towels! Lounge with comfortable sofas, and good TV for catching up on Wimbledon! Weather wasnt perfect,Read more so couldn't enjoy the sun loungers, but having the covered outside table area was perfect for drizzly day. Easy to get to beaches. Recommend! Fab Hide

The cottage was in a lovely location and well equipped. Garden was lovely and had a good bbq with seating. It had all the essentials in the kitchen and had everything you could need to cook all meals.

Good location for much of Norfolk. Cottage, though small, is adequate for 4 adults and the grounds were lovely for an evening stroll. The kitchen proved challenging for a roast lunch but if guests are eating out theres a wealth of nice places to coffee /eat. Beds were comfortable and beautifully dressed and the bathroom very up to date.We visited iRead moren January so got no use of the garden but I'm sure this would be a great asset in better weather. We had the best week, everything was stunning. So quiet, garden week maintained, the ground were unreal, seeing the horses daily, the view, lots of space , kitchen well equipped, people staying next day we spoke to and they were lovely, we have a big dog and she loved it, boys loved the back grass so could play , Sabrina was great, internet was gooRead mored so happy kids. We truly had a great week and none of us wanted to leave x Hide

Beautiful cottage everything you need is there. Beach and the Sandringham House and forest are close perfect base for exploring.

Lovely cottage, peaceful setting. Well equipped and comfortable. Stairs are quite steep.
