Built in 1745, Ingoldisthorpe Hall is one of only a few Grade II listed country houses in England. Standing in 30 acres of private grounds and parkland, this unique house offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and is the perfect venue for discerning large families and groups wishing to holiday together. The Hall has undergone major and award-winning restoration, finished with sympathetic decor and contemporary facilities. With a working fireplace and a wood-burning stove, the charm of this Georgian property is hard to miss.

Situated within the historic village of Ingoldisthorpe, rich with Georgian architecture and rolling countryside hills, this attractive area is home to many pubs, restaurants and shops. Ingoldisthorpe is surrounded by unspoiled countryside, with many nature reserves and National Trust attractions within 3 miles, great for a family day out with the dogs.

With attractions both near the coast and further inland, there is always something to do when staying at The Hall. Take a trip to visit Her Majesty's country estate at Sandringham, only 3 miles away, or Houghton Hall, a mere 10 miles away, before going to one of many beaches within 5 miles of the house for a day of sun, sea and sand.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £70. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Perfect location. Lovely house but could do with some updates. Garden not as enclosed as we would have liked as the dog managed to get out. Other than that it was very good.

The best weekend in the most stunning house! The beds were sensational, the kitchen was so well equipped and the hot tub was something Ive dreamed of watching the sunset over the trees!

An amazing house that just kept giving. Super venue , amazing views, great facilities. The house has been beautifully kept with heaps of history that can be viewed inside . I booked the Hall for my daughters 18th and for all our family to celebrate together. It far exceeded our expectations. What the perfect location for a family celebration. The games room was a huge hit and everyone had to take part in the pool competition, including my 85 year old mother who got through to the semi-final! This is a fabulous venue especially for multi generation, family get togethers. There is lots of space; a very well equipped kitchen if you enjoy self catering; the opportunity to have caterers if you prefer to relax. The games room can become the hub for fun tournaments and the lounge has lots of tables to set up jigsaw puzzles and card games. SabRead morerina could not be more helpful. The only thing to consider, lots of stairs and steps, if you have anyone with limited mobility in your group. Hide

13 cousins got together for 3 days at Ingoldisthorpe Hall.The Hall was simply fantastic - loads of character,great kitchen,open fire in lounge,comfy beds (most rooms en suite) & lovely grounds. We had a great time & would highly recommend.

A wonderful stay at this property for a special birthday. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, kitchen is very well equipped with what you need. The hosts are very communicative.
