St Benedicts Cottage is set within the conservation area of the famous and beautiful Medieval village of Little Walsingham. It is also under half a mile from Walsingham Abbey with its medieval pilgrimage shrine and a selection of lovely churches. The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham is a popular choice and there are also some lovely little shops to browse should you wish.
Hop aboard the vintage steam train on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway which will take you to Wells-next-the-Sea where you can walk around the delightful town, relax on the spectacular beaches or explore the nature reserves. Or join the coastal path and walk the 5 miles to Burnham Overy Staithe or take the car and visit the various reserves and pretty beaches to the west.
