Toolmakers Cottage is a sensitively renovated cottage in the picturesque village of Syderstone. A beautifully presented patio and garden offer a peaceful outdoor space for al-fresco dining. Inside, the living areas are bright and spacious; an attractive farmhouse-style kitchen with range cooker and cosy lounge with a wood burner create a welcoming atmosphere for families or groups of friends. Three attractively furnished double bedrooms with stylish bathrooms set the scene for a restful night's sleep.

The village of Syderstone is just 10 miles from the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea. 13 miles away is the elegant coastal town of Hunstanton where you'll find beautiful gardens, family activities such as Crazy Golf and Pitch-and-Putt and a beach perfect for rock pooling.

If you're interested in nature, head for the RSPB reserves of Snettisham (12.5 miles) and Titchwell Marsh (11 miles). Enjoy a picturesque walk along the Norfolk Coast Path or Peddars Way which wends its way inland from Holme-next-the-Sea (11 miles). Visit Sandringham Estate, one of the Queen's stately homes, for an insight into the lives of the royals.

  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

This is the second time we have stayed at Toolmakers cottage and we really enjoyed our holiday. The whole cottage is of a high quality standard and beautiful fixtures and fittings. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The location is perfect for a nice quiet break. Close to lovely rural walks, beautiful beaches, lots of lovely pubs to visit. OwlRead mores hooting at night. Perfection!!!!! The cottage was spotless and every thing in it was of a very high spec. Really comfy furniture and beds. Immaculate bed linen and towels. A very welcome stock of essentials plenty of wood for the log burner in fact nothing you could want for. Lovely garden .we will be back !!!

Had a fantastic 2 weeks at this beautiful home. Beds were super comfy. Lovely quiet location. Delightful garden for food and drinks in the evenings. Would love to go back.

The beautiful cottage was extremely well equipped, and very comfortable. Lots of space both inside and out , and 3 spacious bedrooms with extra comfy beds, together with 3 bathrooms which was ideal for a family with older children. A large, dog friendly garden with very pretty border and outside patio area with table/chairs and bbq. Great to have dRead moreesignated off street parking. Beautiful cottage set in a quiet little village. Gorgeous view from the master bedroom window over the fields and natural watering hole for coots, moorhens and curlews. Pretty back garden to sit and relax in the evening watching the sparrows nesting in the hedges. An ideally situated cottage to explore north Norfolk.

Such a beautiful relaxing cottage & garden, has a lovely layout in a cute little village with many walks from the door, woods behind the cottage, common opposite, poppy field by the church all make different loops around the village perfect for our dogs. Our dachshund & cocker found ways to escape the garden so not totally secure, we used logs to fRead moreill in the holes. We love this area and if we return with a bigger party we will definitely stay at Toolmakers Cottage. Hide

Really love this cottage. Spacious yet cosy. Beautiful garden completely enclosed for my dog. Excellent car parking right outside. Quiet and peaceful. Brilliantly situated for getting to lots of places and the coast. Lovely Heath on the doorstep. Will definitely be my go to place for Norfolk.

We had a great week at Toolmakers Cottage with the dogs. Lovely walks in the fields surrounding the cottage and everything you need within a short drive. We used it as a central base to the coast. The cottage itself was lovely, very comfortable with everything you needed. The garden was enclosed so the dogs couldnt get out and was a lovely area to Read morehave a bbq and relax on the patio. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Norfolk. Please someone reopen the pub in the village :) Hide

Beautiful spacious cottage in perfect location. Not too far from all the best beaches. Excellent garden and bbq with lovely comfy garden furniture. Nice French doors which made the most of the indoor outdoor space. Great walks on the doorstop. Not too far pubs/shops. Spacious bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. Glad we chose Toolmakers cottage!

Great cottage, well equiped, comfortable and with large garden in excellent location for exploring north Norfolk. Just be aware of no wardrobe in double bedroom.

Had a lovely stay to visit the north Norfolk coast. Time & weather meant we couldnt use all the facilities but plenty there. Great dog walking/ bird watching spot 100 yards down lane. The accommodation is great, lots of facilities.

A beautiful spotlessly clean well equipped cottage with a lovely private garden in a very pretty little village. A but if a long way from the coast and main attractions but a fabulous base nonetheless
