A lovingly updated traditional cottage, this property offers a comfortable and stylish place for four guests to enjoy a break in the attractive Norfolk town of Holt. On the ground floor the lounge is a beautifully light-filled space, whilst the kitchen/diner is another generously-sized room with a good range of equipment. Outside a garden path leads from the house to a sunny patio area which is ideal for al fresco dining during the summer months.
Situated within 0.5 miles of Holt town centre, this property is perfectly situated for popping into town for a browse around the shops and a bite to eat in one of the numerous independent restaurants which can be found on the town’s elegant Georgian streets. A mile from the property’s front door, meanwhile, the handsome steam trains of the North Norfolk Railway Company run north to the coastal village of Weybourne and onto the seaside town of Sheraton 6 miles away: a delightful day out.
Holt enjoys a fantastic location in rural North Norfolk, surrounded by pretty villages and flat countryside which is perfect for walking and cycling, and yet only 4 miles from the coast. Head 10 miles east to the traditional seaside resort of Cromer and enjoy a day on the sandy beach, lunching at one of the seafood restaurants, perhaps ending the day with a show at the end-of-pier theatre. Or maybe you’d prefer a day at the unspoilt beach at Holkham Bay (16 miles): a vast stretch of sandy which is surely one of the most beautiful in the country.
