A thoughtfully converted chapel, offering stylish yet comfortable accommodation for four guests, enjoying an enviable location in the village of Warham, only 2 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea.
Set in the idyllic Norfolk village of Warham, just 3 miles from the coast, this traditionally furnished converted chapel provides a cosy and welcoming retreat for guests. Its stunning original windows give a taste into its history, with high ceilings and exposed beams following the theme. A conservatory leading into a charming rear garden is a delightful spot to have a spot of lunch and two bedrooms and a family bathroom make this property perfect for a couple or small family who are looking for a real home-from-home experience.
With an excellent pub under a half-mile walk away, you can pop in for a hearty lunch before heading out to see the two medieval churches in the village - a surprising discovery for such a small parish. There is a little railway station which is on the narrow-gauge Wells and Walsingham Light Railway, where you can hop aboard for a trip to Wells-next-the-Sea at the coast. Here you will find many more shops, a charming quayside and a fabulous sandy beach.
Further afield, you can drive the 4 miles to Holkham Hall and visit the magnificent stately home and rolling parkland of this estate. Offering a full programme of events throughout the year, it is a great place for both children and adults to discover some of the UK’s marvellous heritage as well as the Holkham National Nature Reserve, one of the most important in Britain. Stop off at the Courtyard Café for a cream tea before heading home.
