This detached larch clad lodge is nestled in the East Norfolk coastal village of Overstrand, a picturesque village known for its fine views of the ocean from its cliff-top position. Topped by a living roof planted with sedum plants, this modern lodge is perfect for a couples’ getaway with one elegant bedroom and one bathroom. The open-plan living space is light and airy with natural light streaming in through the patio doors, and on chillier evenings there is a warming wood burner to cosy up in front of. On a fine day enjoy al fresco meals under the beautiful magnolia tree on the south-facing patio.
Couples who enjoy leisurely strolls by the sea will be pleased to note the lodge is less than half a mile from a sandy beach; a much quieter alternative to the bustling stretch of sand at nearby Cromer. There is an excellent pub also half a mile away with a fantastic menu of home-cooked meals, situated next to the village shop with post office. The cliff-top café in the village is another lovely spot to enjoy a spot of lunch with breathtaking sea views.
Cromer is the nearest town just around the coast (2.5 miles), with excellent fish and chip shops, as well as a selection of restaurants, a traditional pier, attractions and a wide sandy beach. The famous Blakeney Point is 17 miles away with its colony of great seals to admire, while the city of Norwich is 22.5 miles away with its magnificent cathedral, fantastic shopping and eateries.
