Tucked just beneath the Norfolk Coast AONB, spend time on this spectacular stretch of coast without straying far from home. Indulge in some crab from Cromer, walk the Norfolk Coast Path or brave the sea for a refreshing dip before heading back to this charming annexe for two for a cosy film night or an al fresco evening in your private garden. Perfect for romantic retreats, savour date night dinners at home or visit the quaint Georgian town of Holt (6.5 miles) for a bite to eat.

Fresh, tranquil tones create an inviting ambience in this pretty bolthole which is attached to the owner’s home. Perfect for romantic meals followed by relaxing evenings snuggled up in front of the TV/DVD, the lounge/diner is open plan and has a pair of snug chairs in which to curl up. The compact kitchen is sleek and stylish, and you’ll find all you need to rustle up three-course feasts and there’s a dishwasher to help with the clearing up. After dinner, take a drink outside and spend a moment basking in the fresh air. The enclosed, private garden has a pretty border and a bench where you can make yourself comfortable. Drift off for a peaceful sleep in the calming double room before rising and shining and starting the day with a shower in your en-suite.

Enjoy beach days galore from your fabulous location just 4.5 miles from the traditional, Victorian seaside village of Sheringham. Sheringham has a lovely beach, and the golden sands are revealed at low tide so time your trip to make the most of your day. Hop on the Norfolk Coast Path and wander to Cromer (5.5 miles) with its famous historic pier, ‘Britain’s Great Barrier Reef’ and fantastic beach where the water is often good for surfing.

Very comfy cottage for two people. Plenty of space. Extremely clean. Definitely need a car as not on the coast hopper bus route. Loved the welcome tea and coffee. Good value for money.

My first visit to Rectory Cottage Annex and proved to be an exceptional place to stay. Quiet and very relaxing, just what I needed and have already booked a further week here in September.

Very private comfortable cottage with own gated entrance benefiting from small side garden too. The city was very clean and well equipped but for me personally however the bed was very soft with little back support. Jensen comfort score of 3 Great quiet location ideal for exploring the north Norfolk coast

This is a very comfortable cottage. Well equipped and well presented. A "welcome" pack was waiting for us, very generous and much appreciated. The location is excellent with everything we wished to see a short drive away. In the end we did not eat out but the kitchen was fine. Highly recommended.
