Head to this beautiful house in tranquil Syderstone and find yourselves in the perfect position for the Norfolk countryside and coast. Up to three people and one delighted dog are welcome at the three-bedroom cottage, which is well positioned for the spectacular north Norfolk coast, as well as the Royal Sandringham Estate, swathes of mature woodland and an array of nature reserves.

Find your way into the hall and then the inviting lounge at this beautifully decorated detached house. Light the open fire on chilly evenings then wander through into the airy kitchen to prepare dinner while it gets going. Discover a separate utility room with washer-dryer and a ground-floor shower room, with WC. Lay the table in the dining room and sit down to holiday feasts together. Climb the stairs to lay your head in either of the two king-size rooms or the twin. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor. Spill out into the garden on warm days to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner out in the sunshine. Find parking for two cars at the house.

Walk less than 1 mile from the house to reach enchanting Syderstone Common; pick up the Peddars Way long distance footpath approximately 4 miles from the cottage and follow it for 9 miles to connect with the Norfolk Coast Path at Holme-next-the-Sea. Plan days out to the beach at magnificent Brancaster, with its wide, golden sands and sweeping dunes, or Wells-next-the-Sea, 10 miles away, known for its colourful beach huts and harbour railway, where you can go crabbing and end the afternoon with an ice-cream or fish and chips.

We found the School House to be spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, and very spacious, and a lovely welcome pack, including 2 pints of milk! and it soon got lovely and warm, as we arrived during Storm Bert, and the weather was appalling, but we soon snuggled down, Martin called in to see that everything was ok, and that we didn't need anythinRead moreg, all in all it was a wonderful week, and being able to charge the car was the icing on the cake, THANK YOU SO MUCH. The Old School House is spacious, clean, had comfortable beds and is well equipped. It is in a quiet location with lovely walks from the door to Syderstone Common and across fields via a public footpath opposite.

A truly delightful cottage with a great history; very well equipped and oh so comfortable - chairs, settees and beds alike. Excellent secluded garden and patio with sunny and shady spots. The adjacent village hall with its pop-up pub (busy but not noisy), pop-up post office, film nights and other activities speaks to a village community. The villagRead moree itself is charming, the people friendly. Numerous clearly signposted walks for family/dogs, one of which runs past beautiful St Mary's church. Hide

Another lovely stay at the Old School House. The house itself is always clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is great, especially for our dog with a secure garden and circular country walks on your doorstep whilst beaches are also close. And the people in the village are super friendly! We love it and hope to return.

We have had a wonderful week in Norfolk. The Old School House was perfect for 2 couples, our aunt and 2 dogs. We found it a great location for dog walking, it was situated in a quiet village with lots of fields with well marked walking paths. We were 15 minutes to dog friendly beaches and towns. The house was very well equipped, we even made a fullRead more roast dinner. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms and the garden was great.
