Located on the stunning waterways of the Norfolk Broads and within easy reach of wonderful coastline, this lovingly converted Windmill, which is surrounded by water and boasts panoramic views, certainly has a ‘license to thrill!’

Enjoy a Norfolk Broads holiday with a difference when you stay at this former windmill at Repps with Bastwick, in the Norfolk Broads. Dating back 300 years, the unique, three-bedroom building has been beautifully converted to offer truly special accommodation for five guests and two four-legged friends. Make the most of the private mooring to take a boat out on to the picturesque Broads; fish from your own jetty or simply relax in the James Bond-themed interior at this individual, circular property.

Step into the unusual kitchen, which comes fitted with everything you might need for preparing homecooked meals. Take two steps up into the lounge/diner to watch the Smart TV or a DVD; stoke up the wood burner or look at the stars through the telescope. Pull open the doors and wander out on to the deck. Find a downstairs shower room with WC and a steep, open-tread staircase leading up to a mezzanine, double bedroom. Reach another double bedroom, with Smart TV, via the main stairs, and an open-plan, single bed, also with TV, on the second floor. The third floor houses a study/dressing room, while the fourth floor accommodates a lounge, with double sofa bed and viewing point, capturing sweeping vistas. This room is accessed via narrow, steep stairs. Discover just as much care has gone into the outside spaces at the mill, where there is a plethora of seating areas and an outside WC and shower for warm weather use. The property comes with a permit for a car park close by; additional parking can be arranged.

Hire a boat from Potter Heigham, 2.5 miles away, to enjoy days out on the water. Head to Winterton, 6 miles away, to picnic on the sand, swim in the sea and occasionally spot seals out in the waves.

A fabulous and unique holiday accommodation. Don't be put off by the walk from the car park to the windmill itself - it's worth it. We loved all the quirkiness and the attention to detail. We had a fantastic time. The windmill was all that we hoped for and more, loved all the quirky features and the garden and surroundings. Ideal location, used parking permit for Potter Heigham and hired boat from Phoenix for the week which was very useful to transport luggage and didn't use car again until our return home.
