Whether you’re a couple in search of a romantic bolthole by the sea, or a small group of friends yearning to try out some adventure sports on the Norfolk coast, you’ll love this funky maisonette apartment in Cromer. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it boasts waterside and church views and is the perfect accommodation option if you like nothing more than a refreshing break beside the sea. Spend your days fossil hunting at West Runton Beach and your evenings rubbing shoulders with the locals in Cromer’s welcoming restaurants and pubs.

After a day of exploring, come home and make a beeline for the kitchen/diner. This space is equipped with everything you need to cook up a fabulous feast for your loved ones, which you can then serve in the cosy dining area. The living area boasts some wonderful views out to the local church, as well as sea views, so after dinner, grab a glass of wine and slip onto a sofa to soak up the scenery and catch up with your nearest and dearest. At the end of the day, there are two lovely bedrooms to choose from: a master bedroom and a mezzanine-style double that’s located up the stairs from the living area.

Spend a day fossil hunting at West Runton Beach (3 miles). There’s a good chance you’ll find some fossil treasures, as this is where the remains of a 600,000-year-old mammoth were discovered. If you want to try something new, Cromer is a great place to take some surf or stand up paddleboard lessons. There’s a school right next to the pier on the east side of the promenade (less than 0.5 miles). And if you want to give the chef the night off, there are plenty of fabulous eateries in town where you can sample the famous Cromer crab.

Well worth the 60 stairs up to the flat. Right in the middle of Cromer, a few minutes from the seafront. Would suggest letting the smallest person use the bed on the mezzanine as I bumped my head a few times, I should have ducked. A nice welcome package on the table, tea, coffee sachets etc. A bottle of apple juice, which was lovely. Lovely quirky property, fully equipped, soft bath towels, central to all facilities, beach, shops and close to local buses. Lots to do and explore. Pier show and steam trains at Sheringham recommended. There are a lot of steps to negotiate which doesn't make it easy for carrying luggage up/down and some ceilings are low. Had a fab week holiday. Hide

The cottage was in a great location with access to everything within walking distance. Very well equipped. Access was a little difficult particularly when arriving and departing with luggage. While the listing does mention steps, it doesn't clearly articulate how many, there were 60 in total. Also the low ceilings would be worth mentioning. OverallRead more a really nice place Hide

Beautiful well equipped house and close to all shops and amenities. Loved that we were so close to the beach promenade. The only issue was the stairs which were too many especially if you have lots of luggage. Kids loved the house !!

Lovely little place to stay with everything provided plus thoughtful extras. Right in the heart of Cromer. Parking not easy but I found Cliff Ave to park for free and not far away. Stairs challenging so not for the faint hearted. Recommended.

What a lovely holiday. A super location and a really cozy flat. I would highly recommend this let to anyone after a quiet holiday that still gives the convenience of having the town centre on the doorstep. Both me and my two daughters loved it. Fantastic views too.

Such a lovely property. Their are alot of stairs - but after a couple of days its not such a shock! Really close to the beach and bustling town of Cromer. Such a great place to stay. We were 2 adults and 2 children, so felt a little squished at times, but apart from that - it was a wonderful flat to stay in. Thank you

I stayed at this holiday apartment with my grandchildren. The accommodation is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Its location, close to the beach and shops worked well for everyone. The stairs are a challenge with luggage and thereRead more are a lot of them so this accommodation would not suit any person who cant manage a lot of flights of stairs. We will definitely stay again. Lovely place, close to the beach and city centre, with beautiful view. Space is small yet stylish and well equipped, I love all the decor, I think host really does his best. If u r coming with children take some kids dvds. Ceiling are low so u need to keep that in mind. My family was very happy there. Thank you for warm welcome.
