An attractive cottage situated in historic Walsingham, this is ideal for a couple, family or friends looking for a quiet country retreat. It is a perfect base for exploring local attractions such as the Wells to Walsingham narrow-gauge railway or coastal gems including Blakeney Point where you will find the country's largest grey seal colony (8 miles).

This delightful property has been lovingly decorated in light tones, and with a contemporary feel that is a perfect match for the cottage's original features. As soon as you step through the door you will feel right at home. The spacious living area has plenty of comfortable chairs where you can relax and watch the Smart TV after a day of exploring. There is also an eye-catching wood burner that can be lit on chilly nights, so you can spend cosy evenings planning the next day's adventure. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal at any time of the day and you can enjoy eating it at the wooden dining table. A lobby with steps leads to the back garden. When you are ready to rest, head upstairs where a double bedroom and a twin room await. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the offering of this lovely cottage. Outside, to the rear of the cottage, is an enclosed garden with a small lawned area and patio area with garden furniture – the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or meal alfresco in fine weather.

Walsingham is home to the shrine of the Lady of Walsingham and several buildings featuring medieval timber-framed architecture, both of which history buffs will love. Nearby are some of Norfolk's top attractions, and the edge of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is less than 3 miles away. The popular harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea with its famous colourful beach huts is 6 miles away, Holkham Hall Nature Reserve and beach is 7 miles, and National Trust’s Sheringham Park with its landscaped woodland gardens is 14 miles.

It is a sweet cottage in a beautiful village, well located for both the beach and Walsingham Shrine. A lovely garden to sit in the sun with a drink. The property has a homely feel.

A lovely cottage, but the heating is controlled remotely and it was quite chilly when we stayed. Otherwise a good location.

A beautiful, tranquil location. A well stocked farm shop within walking distance of the property. The garden is completely secure, which was a bonus as we had our escape prone dog with us.
