Just half a mile from the Norfolk Broads, this high-quality holiday home is an ideal base for a family holiday or a get-together with some friends, with many amenities within walking distance. Its large, enclosed lawn is a huge draw for children and for pets, and in summer you have free use of a swimming pool close by.

This special getaway is set all on one storey, with beautifully co-ordinated decor in mostly pale tones, and natural textures for a calm, relaxed ambience. Its lounge/diner is a delight, filled with light from the windows and doors that run the entirety of one wall, offering pretty views of the garden. Here, there’s plenty of space to get comfy and, in the winter months, close the blinds and snuggle up with a movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen is another bright and pretty room, and includes all the facilities you’ll need for creating family meals. The king-size bedroom and the two cosy twins - all of which have ample storage - share a family bathroom. For fresh air and fun in the sun, there are two outside spaces: a gravelled area with seating at the back, and an enclosed garden at the front which has a patio and picnic-style table, the perfect spot for an al fresco supper as you watch the children play.

The small market town of Stalham is a gateway to the northern reaches of the Norfolk Broads, and you can hire a boat from its historic staithe, or wharf, which is less than half a mile of the cottage. Explore the scenic waterways and see what wildlife you can spot. If you fancy a day trip, head to the family-friendly beach at Sea Palling, 5 miles, or BeWilderwood, 6 miles, the outdoor adventure park.

Lovely accommodation and a good base for visiting the area. I would advise anyone thinking of taking food supplies with them to wait until you arrive because more than enough fresh produce for cooked breakfast/milk/tea & coffee was provided and anything you don't have can be bought at the Tesco store a couple minutes drive away. Our stay was only FRead moreri-Mon but would like to return some time to see more of the area. Hide

The house was really bright and comfortable. It had everything you needed for a relaxing home. It is situated close to local shops and everything is in walking distance. Everyone was catered for including the dogs. The gardens are secure. They are a good place to spend an evening. Being able to use the facilities at the chalet park next door was goRead moreod..
