Not only is this a superb retreat to relax in the heart of Norfolk’s countryside, surrounded by trees and wildlife, but it’s also the ideal location to explore the Norfolk coast. For days out, the historic town of King’s Lynn is just over 5 miles away with many striking buildings as well as plenty of places to eat. Alternatively, you can travel to Oxburgh Hall (14.5 miles), a National Trust-owned medieval country house, or the 18th-century architectural masterpiece that is Holkham Hall (22 miles) with its artwork and extensive library. If you fancy a trip to the seaside, Brancaster Beach (24 miles) is part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and features a wide expanse of golden sand, perfect for a day of sunbathing and swimming and offers a variety of activities such as kitesurfing, paddleboarding, sailing and fishing.
As you enter this beautifully crafted, luxurious wooden lodge, you are greeted with a splendid open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. The designated chef of the group will have everything they need to whip up delicious meals, and the dining area has enough seating for all guests to gather around and dine together. The lounge area is the place you’ll navigate to after a busy day out exploring Norfolk, and with ample soft seating and a Smart TV, there’s no better place to unwind of an evening. When it’s time for bed, choose between a twin room (can be made into a super-king on request) or one of two welcoming King-size bedrooms both with an en-suite shower rooms and WC's. There is also a third shower room and a separate WC.
Outside, there is a lounge area with sofa and gas-fired fire pit so you can be at one with nature, taking in the countryside views. For added luxury, there is also a Green Egg BBQ and a six-person hot tub. On site, guests have access to a shared gym, as well as a patio and coffee lounge with light refreshments available.
