Buffers End is one of a pair of lovely cottages nestling in the charming coastal village of Burnham Overy Staithe. Set on the breathtaking northern coast of Norfolk, this delightful holiday cottage is a perfect getaway for a family looking for a rural retreat just a few miles from the sea. This bright and cheerful cottage features a light and welcoming lounge, a stylish and spacious kitchen/diner, four cosy bedrooms, a sunny garden room, a bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms, with an additional WC as well as a lovely garden with a patio and beautiful views.

Burnham Overy Staithe is a small and bustling coastal village with a creek-side harbour, salt marshes and channels out to sea. The village is a major recreational sailing centre, and you can catch the ferry out to the nature reserve of Scolt Head Island (3 miles away), which is a beautiful bird and seal sanctuary.

There are plenty of lovely villages and towns to visit nearby, including Burnham Market (1½ miles), Holkham – home to the vast Holkham Estate (4 miles), and Burnham Thorpe (4½ miles), the birthplace of Nelson. The popular towns of Fakenham (12 miles) and King's Lynn (25 miles) are nearby.

Property is next door to Sleepers which is an identical house and these houses may be booked together to provide accommodation for up to 14 people.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Excellent property - with ample space catering for all ages from babies to grandparents - and dogs - close to the Staithe and lots of good walks out direct from the property - you could leave your car on the drive all week

A spacious and well designed 4 bedroom house. Ideal for large families, extended families and multi generational gatherings. Quiet location, but well situated for exploring North Norfolk . A short droll to the water's edge.

This is a lovely, comfy family house. We enjoyed a super 4 days over New year with our own family; including children and 2 dogs Property catered well for youngsters, stair gate was useful and plastic crockery was great too. Enclosed garden, with direct access to playing field and play park was appreciated by all, as were the lovely walks from the Read moredoor. The Hero pub is welcoming, cosy and great food! We went crabbing at Wells, walked sandunes at Holkham and even did the Park Run there! Hide

Lovely cottage with large rooms and ample storage space. Just the place for getting away from it all. Comfortable furniture in both lounges and very well equipped kitchen. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads directly onto a playing field which has football nets, tennis court, basketball net and a very well stocked children's plaRead morey area. Lovely, spacious house in a great location. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a huge dining table for family meals. The sun room at the back is full of light and always warm. The Hero pub is only a short stroll away and serves a great Sunday lunch. There is an excellent play park through the garden gate.
