Tucked away down a no-through road in the Norfolk village of Ingoldisthorpe, Gardeners Cottage enjoys a peaceful, idyllic setting which borders the parkland of Ingoldisthorpe Hall. One of two cottages on site, it has been beautifully finished throughout. The spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen, separate diner, and two cosy bedrooms makes it ideal for a small family getaway. Outside you'll find a secluded sun trap of a terrace and an attractive enclosed garden,

plus a ‘fairy house' providing additional sheltered seating.

As well as its own enclosed garden, Gardeners Cottage shares a larger grassed area with Grooms Cottage next door, meaning more space for dogs and children to play and explore. You'll find the village amenities a 1.5 mile walk away, plus the friendly local pub, while the Peddars Way Trail and coastal path are also nearby - great for keen cyclists and walkers.

The excellent sandy beaches at Hunstanton (6.5 miles), Brancaster (12 miles) and Holkham (17.5 miles) are within easy reach and are must-visits for a fun family day trip. Also nearby are the RSPB bird and nature reserves at Titchwell (11 miles) and Snettisham (1 mile).

We and our dog had a lovely week in Gardeners Cottage despite the cold weather. The cottage was comfortable and had all we needed for cooking and relaxing. It was cozy and the garden would have been great to sit in had it been warm. The cottage was in a very quiet location with walks nearby and amazing beaches like Holkham and Brancaster within 30 Read moreminutes drive and also Sandringham nearby. Gorgeous little cottage in a lovely area. Ingoldisthorpe is a tiny village with no facilities but Snettisham is only down the road with its pubs, cafe and supermarket, also a randomly placed Factory Outlet shop?!?! Great cottage in wonderful location with beautiful countryside views. We enjoyed seeing wildlife from the cottage and sitting in the peaceful garden listening to the birds. Gardeners Cottage has all the home comforts you would expect. Lots to see and do in the local area - sandy beaches, nature reserves, and lovely walks.

We had a lovely week at Gardeners Cottage, it is spotlessly clean and with everything you might need for your stay. Very comfortable, warm and cosy, a real homely place. The garden was perfect for the dogs being fully enclosed and would have been a lovely spot to sit if the weather had been better. Watched Muntjac deer and rabbits from the house, pRead moreheasants and red kite. A real gem of a place, peaceful and just right to recharge batteries! We stayed in the cottage in March and found that the property was warm, cosy and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc and the beds are very comfortable. It is in an ideal quiet location, with good amenities nearby and very convenient for travelling along the North Norfolk coast. We had a lovely stay, brilliant location and a beautiful garden very quiet! Loved the miniature billy goats and horses at the front of the property in the field that we went to see every day. Good local amenities but a car is advised.
