No 3 Malthouse Court in the coastal village of Thornham, is a spacious terraced cottage built approximately 20 years ago in traditional brick and chalk lump (or clunch) style. As part of a conversion of former farm buildings it really shines with character. Sit out in the pleasant garden surrounded by beautiful shrubs and small trees. Parking for two cars is off road behind the garden. The property has been tastefully furnished to make a comfortable 'home from home'. Located not far from the Home Dunes natural nature reserve, Thornham marsh and close to the Norfolk Coastal path, there is so much to see right on your doorstep. Take time out from sight seeing to sample the delights of the local dishes at nearby The Orange Tree Inn and Restaurant, The Chequers Inn or pick up some nibbles at the Thornham Deli.

Great location - pub, shop, beach

The cottage was excellent and very well equipped and in a lovely area. We found the area good for birdwatching and walking. The lady I spoke to on the telephone at Ketts was very helpful and explained things carefully. The whole process and our stay was excellent. Thank you The Kett Guide in the cottage was very useful and comprehensive and we used it to plan several trips.

I found Ketts in the RSPB magazine and thought the booking process was very good. The cottage was lovely, very well stocked with plates, cups etc. It was lovely and warm and we enjoyed the open fire. We would certainly return to this cottage and recommend it to friends. Thank you Ketts

Specifically the property was very well supplied with crockery cutlery games books local info.plus bikes and beach equipment in the garage. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with the necessaries. The conservatory was a real bonus as it provided a space for eating and sitting both in the warm and the light. The house is located such that you can walk out to the coastal paths without the need to drive first – a good feature.

We had a lovely week here. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed, (including all the cake-making equipment we needed to make may husband's birthday cake!). The cottage was so warm and cosy, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here.

It’s good to see improvements to the property year on year. The electric shower, increased water pressure, radiator in the conservatory are all welcome additions since our first stay. Thought the traffic congestion update regarding Kings Lynn was useful.

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was warm and comfortable in a good location. We took the dog with us and the best beach was Brancaster. We went to all of the pubs for dinner between Thornham and Brancaster, all very dog friendly. The dog's favourite (and ours) was The Ship at Brancaster. Good food and good atmosphere
