The cottage is in a lovely Victorian building and is well placed for exploring North Norfolk. There are plenty of amenities within a short drive. The local chip shop is very good and ideal for a takeaway on the day of arrival.

This is my second year using this property and found it to be just as delightful as last year. It is a dog friendly cottage which my dog throughly enjoyed. The garden is secure so safe for dogs. It is well positioned to be close to a number of beaches and places of interest . Everything is provided to make it feel home from home.

The cottage was exactly what we were after and was in an excellent location for visiting the coast and woodlands. Communication from the owner was really good and she was kind enough to even leave us a treat as we were staying over Christmas! The wifi worked well (which can be a bit dubious in Norfolk!) and the house was very clean, and enjoyed by Read moreall guests (human and dog alike!). Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
