This is a very comfortable cottage in an excellent location. It is well equipped and has nearly everything that the good cook would want. We had a slight problem with one of the showers and it was fixed within 2 hours of reporting the matter. One of the best properties we've stayed in

Cottage/ barn conversion, very well appointed, there was a problem with the shower but this was rectified promptly once reported, lounge and bedrooms very comfortable, appliances modern and very user friendly. This was the second time we have stayed here and will be going back.

Wonderful , modern, cosy, secluded converted barn, in the middle of a farmers field. We had a delightfully peaceful week. We're already looking forward to staying again.

The cottage is lovely light and airy and has every convenience. It is very spacious and the location is good for watching wildlife.

A comfortable and well-equipped property, which is ideally situated within quick reach of all parts of north Norfolk, in peaceful surroundings while being just minutes away from all the facilities of Fakenham.

Lovely open plan space, thoughtfully laid out. Very warm with several thermostats to control different areas. Under floor heating downstairs. Bedrooms large with large bathrooms too, especially the double bedded room. Comfortable beds. Viewing landing was a great place to sit and watch the sunset from Alethorpe but the other barn had a view of the Read moresunrise. Although attached, the layout meant only the staircases were on neighbouring walls so we never heard the guests next door. Peaceful! Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
