Pretty barn conversion property offering stylish accommodation for four guests, one of two properties at this idyllic location in the Norfolk village of Briston, just four miles from Holt.

Appletree Barn is truly a great property. It has been converted to the highest specifications, featuring solid oak flooring, quality bathroom fittings and a hand-made kitchen, complete with Aga cooker. This stylishly decorated barn offers a tasteful, relaxed style and great open-plan living downstairs for the whole family to get together. It provides a cosy bolthole for a family of four – although those in the twin room may need to mind their heads on the eaves! A property with a great homely feel.

The barn is 3 miles from the Georgian town of Holt, a popular destination for shopping and eating out with restaurants, tea rooms and public houses. The local pub and shop are also within very close proximity – both within half a mile.

This was a very nice, cosy, warm and very clean barn, and had everything we needed for a family of 4 . It was an ideal base to all the beautiful places in the area. Our children loved the play area, my husband was working and was able to do so using the WiFi. It was a great little find.

A fab cottage for a family holiday. My 2y loved playing in the garden, the climbing frame and swings were a huge hit. The kitchen has everything you need, and the living area is very comfortable. We will be back again :)

Stayed here for a month whilst completing a house sale. We found the barn very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The washing machine was very useful. Parking is secure and accessed via an electronic gate. Brixton is a secluded village but have an excellent butchers and grocery store selling great quality local produce. Were we notRead more moving to North Norfolk we would stay here again. Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
