A period barn conversion, sleeping six guests, offering a peaceful rural location with a private patio and shared games room, situated just twelve miles from the beautiful Norfolk coast.

Bursting with rustic charm and character, this gorgeous barn is perfect for a rural retreat for six in North Norfolk. Your secluded position in the quaint village of Tattersett is 12 miles from the outstanding Norfolk Coast AONB and there are many country walks from your door. Enjoy lively evenings in the games room or sip tipples on the patio where you can catch up with family and friends before drifting off in one of the quirky galleried bedrooms.

Exuding traditional style and features, the open-plan living space is the perfect heart of the home for planning adventures and unwinding after days in the great outdoors. Warm tones complement the striking, exposed beams which line the ceiling in the lounge area, helping whisk you into relaxation mode so you can laze in front of the TV/DVD and enjoy film nights. Let the outside in and throw open the patio doors or step out with a tipple in hand. Spend some time basking in the last of the light on your private patio where you can tuck into sizzling BBQ feasts and keep an eye on your tail-chasing pals. After enjoying a delicious dinner, get competitive in the games room (shared with other properties on site) and play snooker, table tennis or children’s games under the vaulted ceiling. Drift off in one of three bedrooms, two of which are galleried with sloping ceilings.

Navigate your way around the spectacular Norfolk Coast AONB and the Norfolk Broads for family-friendly days and trips to remember. The vibrant village of Burnham Market lies 9 miles north and has some great eateries making it a good pitstop on the way to the beach. Glorious sands and picturesque water at Wells-next-the-Sea (12.5 miles) welcome both dogs and owners all year round or make a splash or visit neighbouring Holkham (10.5 miles) or Blakeney (18.5 miles).

Lovely cottage and welcome pack, games room was an added bonus, very quiet location. I left property behind and they kindly returned free of charge straightaway! Excellent! Only downside was no WiFi despite saying there was and yes I do understand its rural Norfolk but my partner needed to work some of the time and wed hoped to run a scout zoom meeRead moreting (but were unable to), hence choosing a cottage that provided WiFi. Would go back, the quiet phone is great when expected! Hide

Beautiful cottage and in a lovely area, plenty of parking, the patio areas very well presented and roomy. Need to be aware of galleried bedrooms as lack of privacy might not be to everyones taste. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely location, tucked away, the cottages were well equipped and the addition of a games room in the barn was a bonus and suited toddlers to adults. It was well located to visit all the holiday attractions without going miles.

Great to have fridge, freezer, washing machine and central heating. The open mezzanine type bedroom layout was ok for us but I could see this being a problem for some families. I don't think this layout was clear from the description. Otherwise, an excellent stay and we would definately stay again.

Cottage itself was lovely and comfortable, the only downside was that it is very remote, so you have to drive everywhere. Having said that, it was ideally placed to discover Norfolk.

Great location for getting around. small Very peaceful, but you definitely need a car as the village is tiny. Shame the games room was shut due to COVID-19. We will have to come back!

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
