Have to start with the positives and there are loads of them. The lodge was just great with plenty of space for our family. A brilliant location within walking distance of the beach and a short drive to Sheringham and Cromer (Sheringham was really good). Sadly I think the cleaner was having an off day before we arrived as the floor in the dining arRead moreea had not been swept, the en suite toilet was not clean and a bag of rubbish was left under chair in the twin bedroom. Still had a fantastic time!! Hide

This was a very enjoyable holiday in a lovely peaceful setting. The lodge was very well equipped. It has been many years since we have had a self-catering holiday and we will do it again soon.

A lovely location, private and secluded with peace and quiet. Just a short walk to the local beach (Weybourne). The walks along the cliffs were fantastic with lovely views. We did manage to see a seal merrily swimming, ducking and diving along the shore line at Weybourne - cheeky pup. The accommodation was very comfortable with all our needs catereRead mored for. It was lovely to sit outside (when the weather allowed) and just take in the quietness and listen to the birds singing their song. Hide

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
