Traditional country cottage located close to the Norfolk coast with hot tub.

A delightful waterside cottage situated within 12 acres of private woodland, this property offers a peaceful rural retreat from the outside world. The single-storey accommodation has been finished with well-chosen touches such as a piano and a warming open fire. Outside, the secluded garden not only offers a table and chairs for al fresco dining but also a bubbling hot tub, allowing guests to lie back and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

The 12 acres of private woodland surrounding this property lead onto a further 500 acres of wooded countryside with no less than nine beautiful lakes. The backdrop is perfect for enjoying leisurely walks, and guests may even be lucky enough to spot the resident deer and badgers. 0.5 miles from the cottage, a well-regarded pub offers an excellent range of wines and beers.

This woodland property may feel very rural, but it is actually only 3.5 miles from the historic harbour town of King’s Lynn. Spend a day browsing the shops and dining in one of the numerous restaurants or pubs, or perhaps pay a visit to the 900-year-old minster. For a different kind of day out, the Royal Estate at Sandringham is within 6 miles of the cottage, whilst the beach at Hunstanton lies 15 miles to the north.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
