We are just back from two week holiday at Blacksmiths Cottage. It was very clean on arrival, well equipped and more space than we expected, particularly on the ground floor. Having our own parking space was great as well. Old Hunstanton is a lovely village and the cottage is well located near a couple of very good bar restaurants and only a ten minRead moreute walk from the beach, which is very big, clean and never felt too busy. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Highly recommend staying here Hide

A lovely, spacious, clean , comfortable cottage walking distance of the beach, shop just along the road, plenty of places to eat nearby - though you should probably book. Very well equipped: at first we didn't find a teapot, but having found a gravy boat and milk jug we knew it had to be there somehow, and it was! (The only garden is just the smallRead more area as shown accurately in the photos). Hide

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful cottage. There was everything you needed inside the cottage and it was close to beautiful Old Hunstanton beach pubs and shop. Lovely patio with climbing roses for drinks in the sun, it was a suntrap. Had nice trips to Brancaster and Wells and golf at Searles Leisure resort. Came back thoroughly relaxed!!

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
