Located in the popular coastal village of Mundesley and just a short walk to a golden sandy beach this modern style lodge is the ideal base for a small family to explore the best of Norfolk.

Stroll less than 200 metres down to the sandy beach at Mundesley to paddle in the sea and play games on the sand. Sleeping four people, the two-bedroom, lodge-style retreat enjoys an exceptional position for anyone seeking to escape to the Norfolk coast. Also enjoy your proximity to the pubs, cafes and shops of the seaside village, as well as to the Norfolk Coast Path. Plan days out to local attractions and beauty spots. Return to the single-storey chalet for a cup of tea in the enclosed garden.

Make your way into this welcoming abode to discover the light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle on the comfortable seating in here to enjoy a film together after busy days out at the beach. Make a cup of coffee or a cold drink in the kitchen area then decide whose turn it is to prepare a delicious dinner with the Norfolk produce you have bought nearby. Lay the table inside or out, depending on the weather. As night falls, head off to one of your comfortable bedrooms: either the king-size with an en-suite shower room, or the twin. There is also a family bathroom. Soak up the sunshine out in your private garden on warm days and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. You also have parking for two cars at the holiday village.

Pick up the Norfolk Coast Path and embark upon an 8-mile walk to Cromer, taking you along the cliff tops and through woodland, and with fabulous sea views as you go. Catch the Coasthopper bus back along the coast road after enjoying the sights of the seaside town and perhaps dining on its renowned dish: Cromer crab. Have a day out in the Norfolk Broads, 8 miles away, where you can hire a boat and watch the world go by from riverside pubs.

Quiet, peaceful area, chalet cosy and compact. Description of how far you had to walk to the sea misleading, it wasn't clear that it was a cliff edge and you had to walk along part of coastal route to actually get on the beach. The coastal route to Bracton should have said no through way past the Gas Depot, you have to go through a field and on maiRead moren roads with no pavements, to get around it and back on the path. Stunning views and a beautiful beach to walk along. Sea good to swim in too. Hide

Accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Quite close to the cliff top walk to the village which we did several times, would definitely stay again!

A lovely place to stay clean comfortable and modern. A very quiet place to be, possibly not suitable for older people with mobility issues or for very young children. As the footpath down to the beach could be quite treacherous I would imagine especially after rain.

Superbly equipped, clean, spacious property. It exceeded our expectations because the photographs do not do it justice. There is ongoing building work on the site but as it is suspended at the moment it does not detract from the very quiet, peaceful location. Would definitely return.

Lovely accommodation. Spotlessly clean (even the oven) and very well equipped with loads of storage. The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
