Nice cottage with 2 large bedrooms, lounge/kitchen are adequate but would be better suited to a couple than 4 people.

We had a lovely week. Our grandchildren stayed for a few days and they loved the house. Holkham house play area and grounds are amazing.

Ideal location close to all amenities. The cottage had everything we could have hoped for. Our children loved their upstairs room. The stairs are steep so its good to be cautious with children and the elderly however this added to the charm of the building for us. Wonderful home and enjoyed every moment we were there.

A great location with parking! You need to be quite agile to negotiate the stairs, especially if using the top floor bedroom. It's a long way down to the bathroom. All very clean and tidy - everything that you might need in a compact little cottage.

Fabulous cottage. My two young children (5 and 3) loves it. Especially the winding staircase!! The only fault I can think of is that it lacked a freezer or freezer compartment within the fridge. All we wanted it for was ice pack to put in with out picnics for days out (and ice for our drinks due to the unusually hot summer). Not a huge issue, but wRead moreorth a mention maybe. Hide

The bathroom electric heater is faulty. Bathroom lighting is poor, very dim. Some of the kitchen cutlery is tired and old Kitchen cupboard door with a failed hinge. Double bed mattress ready for replacing.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
