A traditional cottage offering comfortable accommodation for three guests, located in the much-loved Georgian market town of Holt, just 4 miles from Norfolk's northern coastline.

This charming original brick and flint character cottage is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of picturesque Holt. Perfectly formed with luxurious touches throughout, such as its hand-built kitchen and the sparkling white bathroom suite accentuated by local flint tiles, comfort and style can be savoured in equal measure. Perfect for couples, friends or families who want to explore Norfolk whilst having ease and accessibility to a delightful town; Holt is renowned for being one of the prettiest in the region with wide-ranging amenities.

Although centrally located, the cottage is on a quiet cul-de-sac offering peace and tranquillity if relaxation is what you’re after. Venturing outside and you’ll find Holt to be a pretty Georgian town where you can meander for hours. Restaurants, independent shores, galleries, cafes and antique shops are all within half a mile, so you’ll never be short of things to do.

If you have more time to spend, the North Norfolk Railway line, or the Poppy Line as it’s locally called, is a must. This heritage steam line runs between Sheringham and Holt and is a fantastic back-in-time experience for all ages. For nearby walks and cycle routes, Holt Country Park can be reached in under 1.5 miles, or the National Trust’s Sheringham Park can be reached in under 5 miles with its vast walks, many of which have breathtaking views.

Location is spot on for getting around the coastal towns. The town centre is splendid with everything and more. Great pub and two hotels on your doorstep. The cottage had everything you could need,just like being at home,easy to find and comfortable, we loved it.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
