An ideal base for nature-lovers, walkers and birdwatchers, this lovely property has been beautifully converted from two traditional brick and flint farm labourers' cottages and retains the ornate chimney which gives it its name. This delightful single-level retreat features a bright and sunny lounge, an attractive kitchen/diner, three cosy bedrooms, a bathroom and a delightful courtyard.

Gunthorpe is a picturesque, quiet conservation village set in wonderful countryside, with fantastic walks right from the cottage door, and opportunities to spot wildlife including hares, rabbits, wild deer, owls and buzzards. The lovely Georgian market town of Holt is just 5 miles away, and has a great choice of pubs, shops and restaurants.

Nearby towns and villages include Fakenham (8 miles), Walsingham (6 miles) and Thursford (2½ miles). The coast is within easy reach, with Cley next the Sea, Blakeney, Morston and Wells-next-the-Sea all within 9 miles. Local attractions include Pensthorpe Natural Park (7 miles), Houghton Hall (20 miles) and Holkham Hall (13 miles).

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts.
