Nestled in the traditional coastal village of Burnham Overy Staithe, Coastguards cottage offers the perfect Norfolk retreat. Fusing traditional and modern styles, you'll find original features throughout, including a range style cooker in the kitchen/dining room and a wood burner in the sitting room - perfect for curling up in front of after a busy day exploring. On the first floor you'll find 1 double bedroom plus 2 single rooms, while on the second floor is the king-size master bedroom, making it large enough for a comfortable family break.

It's easy to see why Burnham Overy Staithe is one of the most popular villages in north Norfolk. Swim, sail or paddle in the winding creek, relax on the secluded beach, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the local pub. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the Norfolk Coastal Path, which runs through the village and stretches for 84 miles.

For those wanting to explore more of the county, head east 4.5 miles to Wells and enjoy the unique, independent high street, the gentle harbour, and even crab fishing to keep the children entertained. Burnham Market, known as ‘Norfolk's loveliest village', is also nearby (1.6 miles).

We absolutely loved this cottage. It felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It has four bedrooms which worked perfectly for us (four adults - not couples). As well as the two bathrooms in the cottage, the loo and shower in the outhouse laundry room was an added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped and has a great layout. A lovely spacious cottage in which to relax, in a quiet little village. It is well situated for a walk to a lovely beach. Provisions can be acquired with a 2 mile drive to Burnham Deepdale and other fairly short drives allow you to explore nearby Holkham Hall and Hunstanton and Sheringham.

A beautiful cottage very tastefully decorated, not the usual 'holiday' home. Lovely position, we thought that being near the road it would be noisy but not at all.
