Dating back to circa 1812, this traditional end of terrace cottage in Mundesley takes its name from the coastguards who once lived here. It boasts sea glimpses from the first-floor windows: a great spot for the kids to read the special story in the owners' welcome pack, which tells the story of a past cottage resident. Coastguards has been sensitively renovated throughout to create a light, modern home, but still retains original features which include the Georgian dining room window. Three bedrooms - one double, one twin, and one bunk - make this the ideal spot for a relaxing family break

Location is everything with this property, with the park, beach, and all the amenities of Mundesley just a short walk away. Spend your days exploring the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty discovering great coastal walks, relaxing on the Blue Flag sands, or perhaps trying your hand at sea fishing.

Keen walkers will enjoy close-by Southrepps Common (4 miles), which offers woodland trails full of wildlife and wildflowers. Further afield but well worth the short drive is the famous Norfolk Broads (15 miles), a stunning waterland of navigable lock-free waterways.

Great location - especially with a dog - reasonably secure back and front garden - I did keep an eye on my little dog but very much appreciated having outside space for her. Stayed at Coastguards cottage for a week in august, and was very pleased we did! Location is great for the small and friendly town of Mundesley, tucked away yet only a few minutes walk to the lovely beach. The cottage is very quaint and lovely and cosy. The beds were very comfortable. The stairs are very steep and a bit uneven in depth but the rope handrail is a great help. There are loads of games, lego and books for kids which is great. Plenty of DVDs too and a games console with games. We were delighted to find that there is now a dishwasher. Had a lovely stay, the cottage has everything you need, the children loved the table tennis in the garage, the garden is enclosed with plenty of outdoor seating. There is a lovely park and skate park a short walk away and the beach is beautiful and clean. Just a couple of things to be aware of,the stairs are quite steep would probably help having aRead more wooden banister not the rope one, also the road down to it is very narrow and not suitable for low cars, but all in all a lovely place.
