A deceptively spacious, beautifully furnished cottage on the idyllic Norfolk coast in Mundesley, where a vibrant village community and beach life effortlessly combine in a perfect holiday destination.

Just 10 minutes walk from the beautiful Mundesley beach, the property is a spacious, comfortable and traditional home away from home. Relax in the large sitting/dining room, which feels like a cosy haven once the wood burner effect electric fire has warmed up on a cold evening. Or enjoy a meal in the enclosed outdoor courtyard. You'll find two bedrooms on the first floor - one double and one twin - with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate all available, making it perfect for young families.

As well as the Blue Flag sandy beach, Mundesley is full of all the amenities you'd expect from a seaside village, with an array of local shops and welcoming pubs. Keen golfers will enjoy the nine-hole course on the outskirts of the village, where you can enjoy unrivalled views over the coast and countryside while you play. It's designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you can expect breathtaking sights wherever you venture.

Heading out of the village is Stow Mill (1 mile), a flour mill open to visitors, and slightly further afield you'll find Southrepps Common (4 miles), home to woodland trails packed with local wildlife. Another must-visit is the famous Norfolk Broads (15 miles), where the whole family will enjoy navigating the lock-free waterways.

A very nice cottage, clean and well presented. Couple of minor points, suggest waste bins be provided upstairs. The mattress on the double bed was rather uncomfortable and you could feel the springs, perhaps a topper would resolve this issue. Overall a very nice stay. Thank you

Just wanted to say thanks so much for a great long weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The little extras were really thoughtful and much appreciated! Hopefully we'll be back as there is so much to see up that way.

The cottage owner called in to check we were happy with everything which was good of him. Also he had left a few provisions for when we arrived which was also very good of him. I would have no hesitation in recommending others to book this cottage.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).

There are so many places to visit and activities to get involved in on a Norfolk holiday. We have some lovely properties including country cottages, farm conversions, large family houses, apartments and surburban home from homes in our collection. Why not find your perfect holiday home today?
