Curlew Cottage sits in an enviable location in the heart of the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea. A beautifully styled holiday cottage with fantastic countryside views which lead out to the coast. There are 3 bedrooms - the master bedroom benefits from a king size bed, an en-suite shower, and there are lovely views across the fields to the sea. It also has plenty of room to put up the cot. The second bedroom also has fantastic views through the large picture window, and benefits from a king size bed. The twin room (with a pull out bed) can also be used as a single with cot if required. Outside the fully enclosed garden has a wonderful sun deck, where you can relax and soak up the views. The owners have decorated the cottage throughout with thought and taste ensuring that any visitor feels instantly at home here.

A short stroll and you'll find great pubs like the Golden Fleece and the Albatross, plus the iconic quayside. From here you'll spot the small local fishing boats, and the children can try crab fishing – also known as gillying. Staithe Street is lined with local shops for you to explore during your stay, and there are many restaurants within walking distance (one is just two doors away).

Curlew Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the best of Norfolk. There are many historic houses such as Holkham Hall (2 miles). Retail therapy is must with nearby Burnham Market (5.5 miles), where you'll find trendy shops galore. For the adventurous, the famous Norfolk Broads and its lock-free waterways await to be discovered, or enjoy a family day out at the Sea Life Sanctuary at Hunstanton, just 15 miles away.

Excellent location, all local amenities within easy walking distance. A cosy cottage, ideal for a break anytime of year. On street parking was available during our November stay, but the pay and display is an ideal alternative and at 34 for the week is good value.

The location of the cottage was excellent, right in the centre to Wells Next The Sea. It was a lovely furnished cottage and well equipped. We arrived on a Saturday and therefore the car park opposite was quite full, we had quite a walk to unload the car. We purchased a week ticket for the 34.00. Super little place to stay if you're looking for something straightforward and right in the heart of the town. Clean and well equipped. Enclosed rear garden was perfect for our little dog and the view of the park and footpaths to the beach beyond was great for a spot of people watching. So many fabulous places to visit if you're based in Wells.

This cottage is due a complete renovation. On arrival there was dog Pooh on what can loosely be described as a patch of grass. The cottage was lovely and well equipped. Location excellent however parking is an issue and albeit carpark opposite to pay and display which is ok if not busy. If you have dogs be aware that dustbin men leave both garden gate and alley gate onto main street open therefore dogs may escape. Mine however were never out of my sight and we ensured the Read moregates were shut. Garden looks tired and could do with some TLC as sitting out having a BBQ was like being in a run down park. Hide

This is a fantastic cottage, a great size and a really good location close to all amenities and about a 1 mile walk to Wells beach. Parking is the only difficulty but we paid for a 1 week car parking ticket across the road which was absolutely fine. The kitchen has everything you need and the fridge freezer is a good size. The town is really quiet Read moreat night so great for families with younger children. There is a brilliant park behind the cottage too. Hide

A lovely property in a great location. We found on street parking during the break but as we had two cars in our party we also parked easily in the car park opposite which cost 34 for the week. It was quick and easy to heat the property and it stayed warm throughout our stay.

We visited mid March with my small dog and had a relaxing week away. Very well equiped kitchen apart from no instructions for microwave. Care to be taken in first floor bathroom as no grab handle, bath mat or shower curtain. The cottage is next to the Crab House fish restaurant where we had a lovely take away seafood platter. Regular bus service alRead moreong to coastal villages and bus passes accepted. Everywhere very dog friendly and most food outlets offer gluten free option. We would visit again. Hide

Lovely cottage in ideal location. On street parking was a bit hit and miss though there is a fee paying car park almost opposite. We had problems getting and keeping the cottage warm during the intense cold spell in February. Had most of the amenities you would require for a stay but strangely no tea strainer or sieve.

A cottage with a great location, a short distance from the quayside. Parking can be a bit hit and miss especially during busy times. Everything you would expect from a holiday let. We may well return.

The cottage is in a prime position in Wells Next The Sea. It does not have a dedicated parking place. There is a car parking area opposite but this is full at busy times. This costs 34/weekly. The accommodation is as described. The cottage is close to shops and amenities in Wells and offers a great base for exploration to nearby attractions : Cley,Read more Blakeney, Stiffkey, , Holkham Hall, Wells and Walsingham Railway to name but a few. There is an excellent bus service to Cromer or Hunstanton. Hide

Nice cottage, good location and lovely aspect to garden. No locks on bathroom doors and top floor bathroom door would not close. Our first purchase was toilet rolls as we were supplied only 2 half rolls for 3 guests for a week.

The cottage is well located and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing week in really good weather for the time of year. In our experience the cottage had a somewhat tired feeling to it both internally and externally and could do with some freshening up
