Really loved the riverside location. Fantastic to look out of the bedroom window in the morning and see boats passing along the river and deer in the field beyond. The owners provided a generous welcome pack and were on hand to get us settled in. I have already mentioned this cottage to friends who have booked for next Spring.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting with views across the River Yare and fields with cattle grazing. It is quite surreal sitting in the lounge watching the boats go past. Situated in a quiet village, with two pubs at either end, post office that serves coffee & cakes. The cottage is extremely comfortable, lovely peaceful garden too.

Beautiful views and peaceful village. Cottage is tastefully decorated inside and every amenity needed has been thought of. Garden is secure and safe for our two dogs, with lovely local walks. Cottage was spotlessly clean, and in light of current COVID circumstances every precaution had been taken to make our stay safe.

Our second visit to Cygnets and it was just as brilliant. The location is absolutely perfect for us and our hosts could not be more helpful. A much appreciated welcome supply of milk, bread and a few treats was a lovely touch too. If you are looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries in peace and quiet, Reedham is perfect.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
