Lovingly converted from a traditional brick and flint farm building, Dairy Cottage fuses past and present for a unique and homely stay. The cottage forms part of the now non-working Beechlands Farm in the popular village of Southrepps, next to the owner's house but completely separate from it. With two comfy bedrooms and a gas-fired burner stove in the sitting room, it makes for a cosy break just yards from the North Norfolk coast.

 

Take a short stroll into the village and discover a handful of local shops and the local pub, the Vernon Arms. Here the locals will welcome you with delight, making it a great spot to pick up some insider tips on things to do in the area!

 

Spend your days exploring the coast and its sandy beaches; head to Mundesley (33 miles), considered one of the county's finest beaches, Overstrand (27 miles), or Cromer (26 miles). Keen shoppers should also visit Burnham Market - also known locally as ‘Chelsea on Sea' for its array of trendy shops and its popularity with workers from the City.

This was the perfect cottage and we had a fantastic holiday! The property was immaculate; the cleanest we've ever stayed in and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy with lovely bedding and the toiletries (hand wash, shower gel etc.) were a real treat and very luxiourious. A really lovely, comfortable cottage in an excellent location. Very peaceful but with the added attraction of being able to walk to a local pub with good food and a nice atmosphere. There was so much to do and see within easy reach of Southrepps that it was easy to fill a week's stay there. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Zuleika and Oliver's place for a short break on our way to visit family in Yorkshire. This charming couple has just taken over the place and the've done a great job. Lovely cottage, perfect location for exploring the coast, either on foor, bike or car. The Vernon Arms in the village is a short walk away and a great place to eat (sugget booking though as it gets busy).

Clean, comfortable and conveniently placed in a village with a shop, as well as a pub that serves meals, and located at an accessible distance to all the many attractions that Norfolk has, including the beach, delightful towns and great birdwatching sites. What could there be to improve?!

Relaxing week in homely well equipped cottage. Enjoyed local NT properties, and walk from Morston Quay to Blakeney & back, and from Sheringham Park to the sea. Delicious Vernon Arms meals. David & Nicole are good hosts. Hope to return. Clutching at straws - only complaint was David's weather forecasting on one day !!!

We found this cottage in 2013 and have stayed 7 times now, each holiday as good as the previous one. The cottage is first class in cleanliness, furniture, fittings and has everything you need on holiday. The hosts David and Nicole are lovely and welcome us back as friends every year.
