This delightful Norfolk cottage offers a cosy home-from-home in the idyllic local countryside.

The Dolls House is located in the sleepy village of Lower Southrepps, nestled in the North Norfolk countryside. Its peaceful location makes it an ideal spot for an escape to the country, and with both a double and a single bedroom, it's ideal for a couple, small family, or friends. Please mind your heads though - being an original cottage, the door frames are low!

Step outside the front door and find yourself in the heart of the Quiet Lanes network of country roads, giving you ample walking and cycling routes at your fingertips (or should that be feet). You should also explore the Southrepps Common Local Nature Reserve, which comprises 12.4 hectares of beautiful woodland that's packed with local wildlife. The village itself is split into two - Upper Southrepps and Lower Southrepps - separated by a mile of farmland, but you'll have easy access to the village shop and pub.

Just a 5-minute walk from the cottage will take you to Gunton railway station, giving quick access to Norwich. But for a true North Norfolk experience, head for the coast; you'll find the soft sands and cool waters of Cromer (5.5 miles) and Sheringham (10 miles) nearby.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We were 2 ladies in our 60s. We had a lovely time based here visiting the beautiful Norfolk beaches. Lucky enough to see seals on the beach at Horsey. The cottage is comfy cosy...a wee gem. It is equipped so well for a self catering break. The wood burner was easy to light and kept the whole place warm even overnight. We switched the electric heateRead morers off it was so warm! Steep narrow stairs to upstairs bedroom may be a challenge to some but worth the effort for the lovely comfortable bed. Hide

From the minute we walked in the door we felt at home. It was toasty warm and we found a bottle of fizz in the fridge, and wonderful cookies on the tea tray. We did a mix of self catering and eating out, and when cooking there wasn't a single piece of equipment not provided. My daughter was particularly impressed that there was a cafetiere!! The beRead morest part for us was the log burner all prepped and ready to light - fantastic. Charming property, friendly hosts, and brilliant place to stay. Hide

Lovely, cosy, warm country cottage. 15 minutes walk along a footpath to dog friendly local pub. Very clean and very well equipped. Owners had left us milk, M&S cookies and Prosecco! Just be careful of low ceiling going from kitchen to living room and steep stairs. Would definitely recommend.

The thoughtful welcome pack and lots of other extras were really appreciated. Les and Sue were very welcoming and on hand if any questions arose. We hope to return soon.

Great little cottage , good location on quiet lane, lots of extra touches by the owners, great walks for dogs just outside the door, only issues are low doorways and steep stairs but if that's not an issue book this cottage now!
