Located in the sleepy village of Hindringham in rural Norfolk, the nearest shop and pub are 2 miles away, and the coast a mere 6 miles. But being in the countryside, make the most of local walks or hop on your bike to explore the quiet lanes and villages nearby.

When you’re ready for a little more exploring, the attractive seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea (7 miles) with its long sweeping beach bordered by pine woodland is a superb day out. Visit the busy fishing quay to sample delights fresh from the boats, or simply stroll along the wonderfully sandy beach eventually ending up at Holkham. Once there don’t miss one of Britain's most majestic stately homes, Holkham Hall and Deer Park, or dining at the Victoria Hotel where you can enjoy wild game and beef from the Holkham Estate or seafood straight from the coast: local cuisine at its finest.
