With wooden flooring, exposed beams and a roaring wood burner, this charming cottage is a homely base from which to explore the Norfolk coast and countryside.

A traditional cottage found in popular Overstrand, Fisherman's Cottage offers an idyllic family escape by the coast. Open the French doors and breathe in the fresh sea air while you drink your morning coffee. With two gardens (one south-facing to the front and a small enclosed terrace to the rear), it's the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors while still being in the heart of the action. For chillier evenings, light the wood burner and snuggle up.

Meet the locals and get insider tips at the village pub, (under half a mile) or head to the cliff-top cafe for afternoon tea with an incredible coastal view. Of course, no visit to Overstrand is complete without a day trip to the beach (under a mile), where you can relax, paddle, or built sandcastles to your heart's content.

Just 2 miles east is the popular seaside resort of Cromer, offering everything you'd expect on a traditional English beach break. Explore the pier, which is home to a lifeboat station and the Pavilion Theatre, surf the seas, or check out ‘Britain's Great Barrier Reef' the Cromer Shoals. The Norfolk Broads (18.5 miles) are also a must-visit, where you can navigate the lock-free waterways and take in the countryside views.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Really safe enclosed outside areas with seating. An amazing shower - wish I had it at my house! Very near to Incredibly clean empty safe beaches. I would have liked to have lit the wood burner but the weather was too good. ( bet it would be such a cosy cottage in winter.

A very comfortable and cosy cottage only 10-12 minutes walk to the beach, 8 to the local shop/Post Office and a 15 minute drive to Cromer. It suited our needs perfectly having been lockeddown for the past few months. Overstrand is a quiet and friendly village, not too overcrowded. Plenty of walks and things to do in and around the village, and manyRead more more within a 10 mile radius. On street parking nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Fishermans Cottage. Thank you. It was a lovely cottage, very near the beach and close to Cromer. It was very comfortable, and had everything we could need.

Fantastic week in overstrand staying at fishermans cottage. A great location a short walk from the beach, news agent and a lovely pub. The cottage was just what we needed with plenty of space inside and an enclosed front court yard. Stairs are quite steep for toddlers but not a major issue. Kitchen was well stocked and the dishwasher was an added bRead moreonus! Hide

Nice old cottage with low door ways and some uneven floors. Very nice shower / bathroom. There are 5 beds but it would be crowded down stairs with that number of people staying. On road parking was easier than expected.

It was a lovely cottage but wasnt really practical for our lively 2 year old with steep staircase that has a narrow bend in it. However, the place was nice for the few days we stayed. The location was great with only a short drive into Cromer.

The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.
