Enjoy a traditional seaside break at Flint Drift, your home from home in popular Wells-next-the-Sea. Deceptively spacious, it has three spacious bedrooms and sleeps up to six, making it perfect for a family escape on the North Norfolk coast. There's even a conservatory/sun room to the rear - a cosy spot to enjoy a moment or two of peace and quiet with the latest bestseller.

 

Walk into town and explore the unique local shops, pubs and restaurants, or stroll along the quaint harbour. In the summer months a narrow gauge railway will take you almost all the way down to the beach, where the kids can enjoy crab fishing. And it's not a true Norfolk beach day without building sandcastles on the beach or a enjoying paddle in the cool North Sea waters.

 

Discover the Holkham National Nature Reserve (1.4 miles), which covers 3706 hectares from Wells-next-the-Sea to Burnham Overy. Spot the wildlife amongst the rare and precious habitats, from salt marsh and sand dunes to pine woodland. Or, for a truly memorable day out, head further afield to the famous Norfolk Broads (37 miles), where you can spend hours navigating the lock-free waterways and exploring the stunning countryside.

This is a great property for a family, very spacious living area and well equipped, adequate parking and also extremely quiet. Great location for walking to the quay, shops, bars and restaurants and the steam railway. The actual beach is about 25 minutes walk away although there is a large car park nearby. We would certainly return. Our only disappRead moreointment was that we were unable to use the BBQ that was listed in the details as it hadn't been cleaned and was mouldy so unusable. Hide

Size of property and location only positives. The property was unclean and lacked any maintenance and would definitely not recommend for these reasons unless the management company make improvements.

Spacious house but appears rather tired and in need of an uplift. The cooker although working ok was rather old. Good size fridge freezer. Washing machine ok but a tumble dryer would be useful. Parking excellent room for 2 to 3 cars. Good location within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and quay side.

Overall cleanliness needs improving: The blind in dining room was dusty and full of cobwebs! My daughter misplaced her mobile so we looked under the seat cushions on sofas, the underneath of sofas were really dirty and hadnt been cleaned in quite a while. The bedroom lampshades were very dusty again not dusted in a while. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location but cleanliness was definitely lacking, especially in the whole of the kitchen area. The garden is a lovely addition but the plants have grown on to the seating area at the top and over the bench at the bottom.

Nice detached 3 bed house in an excellent position for easy walking access to local pubs and the town. Very comfortable. Great location. Spacious property with good outside space and parking. Rooms larger than expected. The only downside is the kitchen that is a bit tired but has everything needed for a family holiday and we felt the price reflects this. Was good value for money and would be happy to stay again.

This cottage is perfect for exploring the North Norfolk coast. Only a few minutes walk to pubs and restaurant in Wells. The cottage had everything we needed for a our long weekend with 2 doggies

We had a lovely week in this great house. It is clean, spacious, well appointed and very comfortable and was a perfect place for us and our two young children. The quiet location away from the road makes it a very peaceful place despite being only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. We loved it. We will definitely come back.
