With uninterrupted views out over Bacton beach and its quiet village location this bungalow is perfect for a break by the sea and is sure to leave guests feeling refreshed and re-invigorated.

Escape to the coast and wake to the sounds of waves at Bacton Beach. Boasting a superb location over the road from the shore, spend evenings in the garden or curl up in front of the wood burner. Family-friendly attractions, fantastic beaches and plenty of places to indulge in a delicious meal can be found close to home so you can keep guests of all ages entertained. This coastal bolthole can be booked with the adjoining property for a getaway with family, friends and dinners on the shared patio.

Fill your lungs with salty air before heading inside to settle at this charming cottage. Built from traditional flint and brick, the charisma continues inside where a subtle nautical theme echoes throughout, and neutral hues create a welcoming ambience. Turn the bright lounge into a cosy haven by firing up the wood burner and spend lazy evenings gazing out of the window or in front of the TV. When it’s time to tuck in, rustle up some delicious fare in the inviting kitchen/diner or fire up the BBQ and enjoy a sizzling summer feast to the sound of the waves. Keep an eye on your pup as the garden and patio are unenclosed, with the rear garden leading to the beach. Rest your head in one of two charming double bedrooms before rising and shining and freshening up in the contemporary bathroom.

Tread the track (or take the ramp nearby) from the rear garden and descend the steps to the promenade and the beach for a splash in the sea, sandcastle competitions and a summer sunbathe. The beach has restrictions for dogs during summer, but you can hop on the Norfolk Coast Path for a stretch of the legs and glorious views. Treat yourself in the local pub or make the 11-mile journey to Cromer where you can sample the local crab.

The most northerly county in the East of England, Norfolk is a land of beautiful contrasts. From the swooning reed beds and endless maze of waterways in the Norfolk Broads; the unspoilt stretches of fens and shingle spits where bird and wildlife thrive; a famous royal palace and the historic cathedral city of Norwich, this enticing area of England is just waiting to be discovered. Visit Sandringham Palace and see where the Queen lives or find out where lavender grows; you could journey to one of the largest seal haul outs in Europe at Blakeney Point or have a traditional day at the seaside at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

Norfolk is characterised by its horizons and big skies, straight highways and rural trappings. Also, when it comes to attractions, visitors to the county will be spoilt for choice. If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
