A bright and sunny barn conversion, Garden Cottage offers a sublime romantic hideaway for couples. You'll find it nestled in the grounds of Manor House Farm in Wellingham, part of a conservation award winning working farm. The grounds are a garden lover's haven and are part of the National Garden Scheme, offering a peaceful spot to relax and wander. At night, the sitting room is the perfect cosy spot in which to curl up, with a roaring wood burner waiting to be fired up on cool evenings.

Wellingham is tucked away in the heart of rural Norfolk, 7 miles from the market town of Fakenham where you'll find everything from local shops and fascinating museums to fantastic walking and cycling routes. It's also home to one of the best national hunt horse racecourses in the country.

For nature lovers, the area is idyllic. Pensthorpe Natural Park is just 10 miles from Wellingham and is home to one of Europe's finest collections of endangered and exotic water birds. Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve is also close by (8.5 miles), with an abundance of wildlife to spot and discover.

Picture postcard cottage in lovely surroundings with a superb garden. The hosts were very welcoming and charming....we can fully recommend this property for an "away from it all" holiday option.

Very rural and peaceful location. Bathroom needed refreshing and may need to take some camping chairs with you to sit on outside as not as shown in picture.

Excellent property. Wonderful gardens. Friendly owners. Need a car as a bit remote but a lovely place. We hope to go back again in the future.

Had a wonderful short break. If your looking for peace and quiet this is an ideal location. Set in beautiful surroundings with traditional pubs only a short drive away.
