With no shower on out last night after a busy day out was not good. The cottage needs plubing work and until that is done they we will not stay there again or recommend it to anyone which is a shame because it has a lot of charactor and is in a great location.

The cottage is well located. Parking is somewhat tricky but not as bad as we were expecting. The cottage itself is very quaint and has a sizeable garden although the kitchen and living area of the adjoining cottage look out onto the garden, so not very private. The interior of the cottage is as per several other reviews somewhat tired and in need oRead moref some decorating. Cleanliness in general was ok except the lounge and shower are in desperate need of some TLC, dog hairs, cobwebs etc. Hide

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of September. On the whole, the property is poorly maintained. The kitchen was reasonable but that's about it. It's in need of redecorating at best and a very good clean at worst. Parking was not an issue for us but can see that it may well cause problems. Lovely and very peaceful location. Pretty traditional country cottage, in need of some love & attention (a few hours' work and not-too-much expenditure) would make it even better still. A great base, very nice pub only 3 or 4 minutes away, and lovely countryside all around as well as being close to many great beaches and towns off the A149.

Beautiful area and a lovely cottage, close to being 5 stars but for some issues: Parking is a major issue and the parking space wasnt usable because guests next door needed to park outside their cottage. We ended up parking off road nearby. Also very uncomfortable sofa and grass is garden not cut. A shame because fantastic location and really nice Read morecottage overall. Hide
