Retreat to this delightful, single-storey, barn-style cottage, just 2.5 miles from the famous Victorian seaside town of Cromer. Sleeping four guests and one canine companion, this charming, two-bedroom. Head out on walks through this corner of the county, sometimes referred to as Poppyland; while away your afternoons on north Norfolk beaches and indulge in traditional seaside fun in Sheringham and Cromer.

 

Open the door on to this delightful cottage to find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Find the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner features comfortable seating for relaxing on at the end of each exhilarating day out: watch the Smart TV, listen to the Bang & Olufsen sound system and fire up the wood burner on chilly evenings. Make fresh coffee in the kitchen and prepare delicious dinners on the nights you choose to stay in. Dine together at the table before heading through to one of the inviting, double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Enjoy your private outside space with use of a hot tub on warm Norfolk days. Find parking for two cars at the cottage.

 

Venture into Cromer to go shopping, dine out or stroll along the pier. Head to Sheringham, 6.5 miles away, to take a journey on the heritage North Norfolk Railway. Visit the National Trust’s famous Sheringham Park while you are here. Enjoy afternoons on the beach at Overstrand, 2 miles away, or Mundesley, 7 miles away. Have a day out in Norwich, 21 miles away, renowned for its medieval cobbled streets, as well as its castle and cathedral. Stroll around its shopping areas, book a seat in one of its theatres or cinemas, and wander round the famous market with its fresh produce and other colourful goods.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. On bus route to Cromer and Norwich. Close to a good range of attractions/ days out. Couple of good pubs for evening eating a short drive away.

Its a lovely clean cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. The hamper was much appreciated and a lovely touch. The front garden is not suitable for small dogs, back garden is safe and completely enclosed but small.

An incredible cottage. We had a great time family of 3 and a Labrador. We felt the did was safe within the front garden, he could only get his head through the gate. Would definitely use again xx

Clean & generally well equipped. Good central location for accessing all of North Norfolk. Be on the alert in the front garden area if you have a small dog, as it's possible they'll get through gaps in gate & hedge. However there is a small enclosed patio area at the back which even Houdini couldn't get out off!

The cottage was just as it was described and pictured on the website, It was comfortable, clean and well equipped. A thoughtful, welcome basket of bread, eggs, milk, crisps etc was gratefully received, and the owners were available and nearby for any queries.

We had an enjoyable week at Grooms Cottage.On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack much appreciated. The krups coffee machine was enjoyed! We certainly enjoyed the hot tub on returning from our days out! Slight traffic news but not intrusive.Would be happy to return!

The location is A 2.5 mile drive to the coast if you require any amenities you would have to drive. Get out an explore the hidden gem of the north Norfolk coast line deserted beaches and dog friendly

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The welcome pack was much appreciated. A really comfortable, homely place and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Hot tub was well used and ample parking was a bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend to others.

What a beautiful cottage this is. It is set in a lovely garden with a hot tub in the corner which we made full use of. The cottage was spotless and there was a gorgeous welcome basket. Every appliance you could think of and even provided tea and coffee. Would highly recommend for location and quietness. Under 3 miles to Cromer.

This is the best cottage we have ever stayed at. Everything was perfect. Its so spacious and has everything you could possibly need. And a lovely welcome pack on arrival too. The private garden is perfect for enjoying the hot tub and a bbq. Great location for visiting everywhere in Norfolk. Cromer is a 5 minute drive or 7 in a taxi. The cottage was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and very generous! Thank you to the owners. The cottage is quite close to main roads and therefore you could hear traffic noise at busy periods but it is very well situated for areas of interest with lots to do in the locality.
