The Hayloft lies on the edge of the village of Dersingham, an ideal location to explore the North West coast of Norfolk. Whether you're exploring the house and gardens or just visiting the shops on the estate, you're bound to keep the family entertained at Queen Elizabeth's private residence. The large village has a number of pubs, restaurants and local shops. For those looking for culture, the city of King's Lynn (10 miles) provides a host of historic spots including a minster, whilst the nearby seaside town of Hunstanton (7 miles) is perfect for families looking for a traditional English coastal experience.

Very comfortable, absolutely everything we needed (apart from a mirror as outlined above). Good location, nice village, although two local pubs a but disappointing, one had stopped doing meals, and the other one needed a lot of care and attention - not very covid 19 safe. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The lounge, kitchen and double bedroom were all of a good size. Whilst the twin room was smaller the added benefit of an en-suite in both rooms was worth it.

The cottage is in a pleasant courtyard, within easy reach of Sandringham and many beaches. The garden and the lounge were much smaller than they appear in the photos, but they were fine for a couple. We found the house a little cluttered for our taste, but it had everything we needed and the main bedroom was spacious. The stairs are quite narrow anRead mored steep and may not suit young children or the infirm. Hide

The cathedral gilded city of Norwich is a wonderful place to lose yourself either walking the ramparts of Norwich Castle or the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum. The city has an exceptional array of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Well connected to the national rail and road network, Norfolk is easily accessible from London, the M25 and from major city terminals.

If you love animals and birds, head to RSPB Titchwell Marsh, or the Cley-Next-The-Sea. With such a long coastline Norfolk boasts some magnificent stretches of beach – favourites include Cromer, Old Hunstanton, Wells-Next-The Sea, the dunes of Winterton-on-Sea, and Brancaster (a favourite for dog owners).
