Indulge yourselves with a stay at this enticing retreat in Alburgh, Norfolk, close to the border with Suffolk. Idyllic for two guests, and also welcoming one dog, the one-bedroom abode is set in the owners’ beautiful grounds, but does enjoy its privacy. Wander the verdant grounds to your heart’s content, enjoy the use of the shared pool and sauna from the beginning of April to the end of October, and head out to explore the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads, which begin approximately 6 miles from this beautiful bolthole.
Step into the lodge and find yourselves in a stylish, open-plan kitchen/diner, where you will find everything you need to cook delicious dinners with your own ingredients on romantic nights in. Lay the table in here or sit out in the evening sunshine in your private, courtyard garden. Make the most of the dishwasher so neither of you has to wash up.
